Rage Against the Machine vs. Beck mashed by Overdub

A few years back when the Beastie Boys released a number of acapella versions of their songs for free via the group’s website, Beastie-mashes were immediately everywhere. One that really got me going at the time was DJ Payroll’s mash of “Intergalactic” and Rage Against the Machine’s “Know Your Enemy.” It was fairly rudimentary, but it really hit the spot.
Since then, proper mashes using any RATM tracks have been few and far between–many coming up short. One has just crossed my path that bucks the trend however, Overdub‘s “Mixed Farm.” The track meshes an instrumental of RATM’s cover of Bob Dylan’s “Maggie’s Farm” with vocals from Beck’s “Mixed Bizness.” For fans of either act, this is a must-listen track.
