Jeremy Messersmith to perform live at lunchtime

“I figured that those of you trapped in cubicles eating your paper bag lunches may need a bit of cheering up on a cloudy day like today” writes Jeremy Messersmith on his blog today. But even if you’re not in need of some emotional enhancement it’ll likely be worth your time to tune into Messersmith’s online stream this afternoon. While in Madison for a performance at the University of Wisconsin, Messersmith recently spoke to Host and Guest about his recent fervor for writing, and with any luck some of that new material will make an appearance today. The stream will go live at 12:30 (central), where Messersmith plans to perform five songs.
Also, if you feel like choosing your own adventure, the singer/songwriter will be taking song requests via Twitter. I for one am asking for Slayer’s “Angel of Death.” From what I understand this Messersmith character is wicked into thrash.
