Nine Inch Nails Critics’ Pick

Doctor’s orders prevented Trent Reznor from taking the stage to play in Minneapolis this past summer, but Nine Inch Nails will attempt to make good as they return to the Target Center, playing a rescheduled show with Japanese drone-rockers Boris. It’s increasingly difficult to know what to expect from Reznor and crew, but recent reviews suggest that concertgoers are in for one of the most visually stunning stage shows that any band has ever produced. Coupled with roughly two hours of music spanning the past two decades, including tracks from the band’s five discs released this year alone, and a booming set from Boris, who will be returning to town three days later to play the Triple Rock Social Club, fans are sure to be in for a night that they won’t soon forget.
