Along with guests Tom Arnold and Shea Whigham, Smashing Pumpkins stopped Jimmy Kimmel Live this past Friday, playing the show off the air. Rather than performing its new single, “G.L.O.W.,” the band stuck with “Tarantula” from last year’s Zeitgeist. “G.L.O.W.” debuted almost two weeks ago on Chicago’s Q-101 and will see its official debut with the release of the Guitar Hero World Tour video game on November 26. Coincidentally the band’s official website reads “We’ll be right back,” also noting a site relaunch date of November 27. Who knows what’s in store for the site, but if the last couple years are any indication, it’s best not to get your hopes up. Smashing Pumpkins are in the middle of a nationwide tour that will be heading through the Midwest, Canada and the East Coast before returning to California in December.
